Inspired by my daughter, Copeley, my art is full of color, high energy, and movement. As the wife of a retired NFL player, I was constantly moving locations. Each move was a reminder of how important it is to make your living space always feel like home. Art provides comfort and life to your surroundings, and I strive to add a timeless, but bold vibe making spaces #abitmorebeautiful. Kelly Aiken is a 30 something old artist and creative designer living the south Charlotte, NC area. Ms. Aiken graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture Design. After working for an architecture firm as Marketing Director in Boston, MA, Kelly switched fields into the art world as an Assistant Creative Director at The Paint Bar. She lead studio instruction to customers, created new calendar content for two brick and mortar locations, and recruited artistic talent by hiring new team members to ensure operational success.
Kelly's daughter, Copeley, was born in November 2016, and she began her own creative collections as a professional artist. Copeley Designs Art launched February 2018, with original abstract gold leaf art in local galleries, boutiques, and prints through West Elm/Minted. Kelly also teaches gold leaf abstract art and Charlotte Skyline art through Skillpop Charlotte. A new venture for Kelly in 2021is a growing residential and commercial mural branch of CD Art.
